Well done. You are one of the few people to have been selected by an employer to be invited to interview.  Your hope is that you continue through stage and report back to the to offer stage. Even if you don’t get through to next stage, take the experience as valuable practice for that next interview.

Call

Call your representing recruitment agent and debrief them. A recruitment agent can be extremely valuable at this stage and report back to the employer ironing out any issues. It could be the difference between an offer or rejection

Follow up

Whether being represented by a recruitment agent or applying to a job directly it’s good practice to send an e-mail to your interviewers. A brief e-mail thanking them for the time. Perhaps reiterate why you feel you’d be right for the job and express your desire to work for the company

Analyse

Unless you are exceptionally unlucky this will not be your only interview. It’s recommended you analyse where you feel things went well so that you can be well prepared for that next job interview

Feedback

By law, a client is entitled to give you feedback whether successful or unsuccessful in the job application. This is very valuable and, if required, will help you structure for your next interview
